Jeffrey earned undergraduate degrees with honors from Brown University in Biology and Classics. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and was elected to the AOA honor society. He then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As part of his postgraduate training, he earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business with a concentration in health care management. After spending 10 years as faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, he left academic medicine to pursue various health care related entrepreneurial ventures. Jeffrey is a lecturer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he teaches a class in the management of medical devices and technology. Throughout his career he has mentored students and medical trainees and has served on residency and fellowship selection committees.
